Gackt
It's abit late, but I saw the PV for Todokanai ai and just flipped. I love it. Though there's a tendency for Vampire stories set in this era to look very similar. It's totally dramatic and very Malice Mizer-ish. I'm glad Gackt isn't the one playing opposite the female lead in this one (not a jealous fangirl!) just think it gives more depth to the PV. It's like this time he's narrating a story played out for us. Pretty visuals, great colour scheme and great hair. =D The PV shows what he was saying in the B-pass interview of a story of the Darkside inhabitants/continuation of Moon Project set in Europe in between the 2 and 3rd chapters of his story which is the year 1200 - current.
The song rocks! That was the first time I heard the todokanai ai song and it surprised me. Though I thought it'd be a milder ballad and not as intense. Liked it immediately. Can't wait for my Todokanai ai single to reach me so i can get to the instrumental. Beautiful music and Gackts voice is in top form. Can't wait!

Is the h-darts theme related to his dancers or co-workers in a way? The thought just came up, that Gackt's focus this time around maybe more on the people he's met and have been working with for so long. I'm not sure why but maybe the vibe I get from the h-darts site and the way it seems to be more focused on him and his dancers. I need more sleep~

An atmospheric book with two, short stories about loss. I prefer the first one to the second but both have how differently these two women cope with loss. one of the powers of a good writer is that they take a simple moment we've experienced and describe it in a way that relates back to us. I don't know why, but somehow I like my life described to me. ^^;

The Hong Kong pics do not do justice to the hustle and bustle of the place. It's just constant movement at night. Full of life, tho I have to admit my first impression of it was not a good one, concrete jungles and industry everywhere, I can get that back home! And it was an overcast day. But soon all that changed. =D

Well, the good thing about me not working at the moment would be more time to experiment with software and improve my drawing skillz. Whatever is left of it. Maybe even start some sort of project. Something to keep me busy and not think negative.
I'd love to tackle Dreamweaver, learn the scripts, plus just get into the details of Flash, that thing seems so complicated, but I'll get you yet! I'd like to think I've gotten abit better from the days of Yo! Evil Penguin.(Flash experiment in college). It was pretty cute, not to mention hilarious when it's head flew off everytime it walked. He even got consistent neurotic twitches. The story: It was a white collar penguin gone crazy. Ooo yeah.
You can bet it was the weirdest one in the bunch, though i still liked what my seniors did with Mr.Shit and stickmen going to the toilet...yep.
The amount of books I have consumed has pretty much tripled, it doesn't help that I'm working in a bookstore! Learn a new language? I'd love that as well. A little at a time, tho. No use paralysing myself with fear of having too many things to do. Wish me luck.
P.s. It's always been one of my dreams to be able to read in different languages, Chinese and Japanese especially. That'll be...wow. Imagine being able to do that.

I came across a quote stating "it's important to take account of everyday". As to by whom or where the quote came from I'm lost, but it struck me as something I want to do. Very much. I want to start over.
Funny how little things you don't notice everyday jumps up at you when you realize it's significance beforehand. Makes you think that nothing should be taken for granted, and feel guilty when I do. I do take alot of things for granted, family, friends, people I meet, experiences, even the books i've read. There's so much to learn and think about and that it's really quite overwhelming. Though I know I should try not to do that.

I've been listening to my Black Stone and Metamorphoze single back to back since this morning. I heven't even gotten to the DVD yet! My gosh, I'm glad to see the rock Gackt back again. I enjoyed listening to the Love Letter and Seventh Night phase which revealed a sentimental side to him (which I loved) still, I'm glad he picked up the pace and went back to fantastic j-rock songs which made me fall in deeper than I really want to. I mean that's the reason why I got so enamored with him in the first place. What can I say about the singles, it just rocks. Maybe I'll elaborate later, but I think I lot of my thoughts have been written down by others. I can only agree.
I wish I had more time to describe what i thought of the singles but I gotta go to work.

I've been trying really hard not to listen to Ash until my Black Stone single comes, thought I could be satisfied with just listening to she short preview of Black Stone on the Oricon site, but nooo I had to dl the PV and rip the song from it. That's it though, I will not go further than that, i will not succumb to the temptations of the high quality rip dl of the Black Stone single on JPopsuki. I will not be seduced, will not be tempted by it's angst or however beautiful its melody might be. I'm starting to think combined shipping wasn't such a good idea. Please do come along sooner than expected Mr. May 25th.
